NURSe and NURTure point to NATure from which two meanings emerge concurrently - NATive NATality or to beget and to know - more distant are notions in KINdle, KINder, and kin. The deepest roots point to GEN, GENE, GENESIS and GENETICS.
Divine Nurse Nursing
Mammals start their NUTRITION by NURSING or SUCKING NUTRIENTS mostly by breast feeding. Note that NUTRIO also means to educate. As infants grow, they also get educated and expand their NUTRITIO.
After infants learn to SIP on SOAKed foods, they can eat SOUPs for SUPper. As infants SUCK, SIP and IMBIBE increasing volumes of SAP or juices, their urination becomes profuse rendering them "to be wet". These notions are found in the axis NURICE - NURT - NYRKA - NUTRia, which in French and Ukrainian link "wet nurse" with "rhein or renal" and with the acquatic nutria. Perhaps more interesting is the expression "all wet" to categorize notions that are infantile.

Only few SAVVY children will become SAVANTS but, everybody should learn how to SAVOR life and how to be SCIENT, that is, knowledgeable and conscientious. In this regard, perhaps the advice by Marcus Aurelius needs stressing since adults who wish to nurture another should ...
