Beauty, Venus or Aphrodite are inextricably linked - is such true for "Love" - are Beauty or Love "rational" notions? - venereal arousal, sexual desire are hardly rational nor is Love - presumably, the reproductive imperative precedes the emergence of the human brain which remains excluded from these domains - explosive reproduction rates by the poor unable to care for their children is hardly rational - nor is "Pudor" or sexual shame so attractively represented here and in other representations known as "Aphrodite Pudica". 

In Medicine, venereal feelings arise during "puberty" nearly concurrently with "pubic" hair and "pudor". In the U.S. girls manifest early breast development before emergence of "pudor" - perhaps a sign of environmental estrogenic impacts from pollution by estrogenic contaminants of nutrients and water.
