Note: the illustrated is either a malformation (abnormal morphology of components of the foot) or a deformation (due to external forces distorting the development of inherently normal tissues). In medical parlance, this foot points toward the "mid-line" of the body, thus it can be called pes (foot) varus or pointing toward the imaginary center. This foot also has an excessive, thus is labeled as pes cavus - in combination it is a pes cavus varus.
