"Cephalus Grieving over the Dying Procris", 1610 Abraham Janssens (1575-1632) Ringling Art Museum, Sarasota, Florida, USA
From an episode in Ovid's "Metamorphoses". The death of Procris is attributed to the jealousy of Cephalus. Note: Deadly hunting.
